Yes, all of our DJs are trained MCs.  Just let us know what your vision is including announcements, introductions, and more. This is automatic with every DJ Package.

Most definitely. We are all bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish. Many couples come to us worried due to having an interracial wedding.  No worries. We specialize in doing bilingual wedding.  At this point your hiring experience! Ask us how.

Are you kidding!  Just tell us when and where! We'll be there! We also have many ideas and suggestions such as modified garter and bouquet tosses! Ask us how?

Yes, we charge $250 an hour but we also have a couple packages that will give you a flat rate for the entire night.  So you don't have to worry about going over and stressing out financially.  One flat rate and you enjoy the night without worries!

We accept cash, money orders, checks, Zelle, Venmo and if we REALLY have to, we will accept your C.C.

Yes, deposits are 50% of your total and the balance is due one month prior to your event.  Deposits are non-refundable but may be used as a deposit for a future event up to a year from the date of cancellation.

No more than two.  The DJ and his assistant. Bigger packages will require more help.

Unless it is a public event such as a festival, unfortunately, we do not allow this due to the privacy of the events.  We would never bring other potential clients to your memorable night either.

All night long unless you specify otherwise!

Tipping the DJ and feeding the DJ is entirely up to you.  It is not mandatory but it is a great way to show the upmost appreciation of what a good job he has been doing through out the night.  Tips usually range from $50 to $200 and are not accepted from your guests.  It would be your responsibility to tip the DJ.  It's just more professional that way.

Well there are several reasons that we are able to charge what we charge our customers.  With over 25 years experience, our main equipment we use is already paid for, we do not bring a whole entourage of help to events and we love what we do.  Therefore, we are able to keep the rates low not having to overcharge for help or having to pay for equipment bills.  Our DJs have full time jobs that take care of our living expenses, meaning we don't have to kill our customers on rates to be able to live.  DJn and entertaining people is what we LOVE to do already.

No.  Actually they are probably worse and here's why.  The reason they charge so much is because the owner does not DJ the parties himself and he has to hire some young inexperienced kid to DJ at your memorable event.  He is charging you for insurance, travel charges, setup n' take down fees along with who knows what.  Here at Windy City Mix, either my partner or I will be the actual DJ for the night.
